We are so thrilled to announce that both our Multipurpose Serum-in-oils have been shortlisted for Free From Skincare Awards this year – #FFSA 2020.
Getting shortlisted for this is a huge achievement for our brand because this confirms one of our core values of creating products that are “free from” controversial ingredients that could irritate the skin, prove to be harmful to our health and leave a negative impact on the planet.
What we absolutely love about this platform is that the testing process is completely unbiased & authentic!
All products are sent for a month’s in-depth testing of its qualities and efficacy to four experienced testers, carefully selected from a panel of over 100, all of whom either have sensitive/problem skins, specific allergies/intolerances, or are passionate about ‘free from’ skincare. The Testers put all products through their paces on a day-to-day basis, assessing how the products do their job, and how they benefit the part of the body on which they are used.
Once the testing period is over, testers complete detailed questionnaires on each of the products, and return them to Free From Skincare Team, with scores. From this data, a provisional shortlist is drawn up. This year over 200 products entered with products tested by the judges for 1 month!

About Free from Skincare Awards
The Free From Skincare Awards, soon to be in their ninth year, aim to celebrate the best in ‘free from’ skincare products — cosmetics ‘free from’ some of the many ingredients which consumers need or want to avoid, be it due to health issues, skin allergies, ethical concerns, environmental issues, religious sensibilities, personal preference, or other reasons.
The awards are entirely independent and all entries are subject to a rigorous testing and judging process, culminating in the announcement of a Shortlist in May, and the Winners in June.
Alex Gazzola is Co-ordinator and the Co-founder of the Free From Skincare Awards. He is a writer specialising in allergies, food intolerances, coeliac disease and gut disorders, and has written several books, as well as articles for hundreds of publications in dozens of countries worldwide.
