At Beauty Cleanse, we are committed to a circular economy approach that reduces CO₂ emissions across the entire product lifecycle, not just packaging. By repurposing upcycled ingredients from the food and juicing industries and working with ethical, responsible suppliers, we close the loop between waste and renewal.


Our packaging is intentionally chosen for permanence and purity: recyclable glass - infinitely recyclable without loss of quality - and 100% recyclable aluminium, designed to return to use again & again.

This is personal care without compromise, where every choice respects both skin and planet.

SUPPLIERS

  • Ethical Sourcing: We source our ingredients through trusted British suppliers, enabling us to support the local economy while responsibly sourcing high-quality botanicals from around the world. This approach helps us maintain an ethical, transparent, and carefully managed supply chain.

  • Upcycled Ingredients: Our upcycled materials are sourced from reputable UK based suppliers with fully traceable supply chains.

  • Sustainability Focus: We maintain a zero-tolerance approach to unethical practices, working exclusively with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible manufacturing, fair treatment of workers, sustainable operations, and transparent supply chains.

PACKAGING

  • Glass & Aluminium Materials: We prioritise glass and aluminium packaging because both materials are infinitely recyclable without compromising quality. By choosing highly recyclable materials over conventional plastics, we help reduce waste, conserve resources, and support a more circular economy.

  • Packaging Boxes: Our packaging boxes are 100% recyclable and crafted from FSC-certified materials.

  • Packing Chips & Tapes: We pack orders with 100% biodegradable chips and tapes that break down quickly, avoiding landfill build-up.

  • Pumps or Droppers: While not recyclable domestically, they can be recycled through TerraCycle for sustainability.

INGREDIENTS

  • Plant-Powered Innovation: Our formulas are composed of over 97% naturally derived ingredients and feature only plant-based extracts, oils, and actives. We carefully select every ingredient for its efficacy, safety, and skin compatibility, creating high-performance skincare that supports and respects the skin barrier.

  • Sustainable Biotechnology: We combine nature and innovation for high-performance ingredients that are also kind to the planet. By using biotech-powered Bisabolol and marine algae extracts, we ensure sustainable harvesting, protecting biodiversity and ecosystems while delivering the best of both worlds, without the environmental cost.

  • Upcycled Ingredients: We rescue leftover seeds from food and juicing suppliers, cold-pressing them into nutrient-rich oils to reduce food waste and air pollution.

  • Eco-Friendly Formulation: Our anhydrous products are crafted with cold-pressed oils, a low-energy process free from heat or toxic chemicals, ensuring a more sustainable impact.

UPCYCLED RED RASPBERRY SEEDS

Our upcycled raspberry seed oil is proven to have a 120% higher antioxidant capacity than standard raspberry seed oil, providing natural defence against oxidative stress.

UPCYCLED BLUEBERRY SEEDS

Our upcycled blueberry seed oil packs a punch against blue light defense. Its a source of pro-retinol, with standardised level of carotenoids (significantly higher than standard blueberry seed oil). In an absorbance study, it was shown to absorb high energy visible light at 1 to 3% usage level - working as a natural shield against HEV exposure from sun and digital devices.

UPCYCLED HEMP SEEDS

At the same time, our upcycled hemp seed oil has been shown (in vivo) to rapidly reduce redness after just 30 minutes and continues to soothe skin over time. It soothes skin twice as fast at 1%, or 4X faster at 3% (vs. placebo).
